One-on-One Lessons, Built from Experience.

Education is a core pillar of my career, supporting students of all levels in developing their skills and fostering a lifelong passion for music and playing.

I offer private Guitar and Bass lessons at my home studio in West Footscray or online through Zoom, using a Multicam setup and professional audio equipment. Whether in person or online, the experience is immersive, focused and collaborative.

Lessons are one-on-one and rooted in the musical foundations I’ve developed through 20 years of playing in studios and on stages across Australia.

Whether you’re starting with an instrument or aiming to improve your skills, we’ll focus on the tools and techniques that help you understand how music works on Guitar or Bass.

What You’ll Learn

If you want to establish a strong musical foundation—one that makes your playing clearer, easier, and more expressive—these lessons are ideal. They suit beginners, self-taught players seeking growth, or anyone returning to music after a break.

We build and explore essential skills and ideas that support real musicianship on bass and guitar.

  • How to learn new music: by ear or by reading.

  • How chords and scales connect.

  • Building strong internal timing.

  • Getting more from your open chords.

  • Tools for improvisation and creating your own parts.

This method provides you with clear guidance and control, no matter which songs you enjoy or where you'd like your musical journey to take you.

There’s no rush or pressure. We progress at a steady pace so the fundamentals become part of how you play.
