About Zac

Zac Watson is an award winning Melbourne-based musician and educator.

In his twenty year career he has performed and recorded with some of Australia’s most acclaimed artists in Country, Americana, Rock and Roots including Andrew Swift, Jen Mize & The Rough N’ Tumble, Taylor Moss, and country icon Bill Chambers.

He’s performed at major festivals like Tamworth, Port Fairy, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Groundwater, and Gympie Muster.

Zac’s solo instrumental music has been featured on ABC Grass Roots, ABC Saturday Night Country and international programs Ambient Country and Across The Horizon.

As an educator, Zac maintains a private practice, working with dozens of students to build foundational skills and a deep level of musical understanding that encourages curiosity and celebrates the joy of learning music.
