About Zac

Zac Watson is an award-winning Melbourne-based musician and educator.

In his twenty-year career, he has performed and recorded with some of Australia’s most acclaimed artists across Country, Americana, Rock, and Roots, including Andrew Swift, Jen Mize & The Rough N’ Tumble, Taylor Moss, and country icon Bill Chambers.

He’s performed at major festivals such as Tamworth, Port Fairy, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Groundwater, and Gympie Muster. Zac’s solo instrumental music has been featured on ABC Grass Roots, ABC Saturday Night Country, as well as international programs Ambient Country and Across The Horizon.

As an educator, Zac runs a private practice, working with dozens of students to develop foundational skills and a deep understanding of music that fosters curiosity and celebrates the joy of learning.
